Watching over everything...

Watching over everything I observe and search for my place in this world or even this city I call home. I have been born and raised in Toronto and have had an abundance of friends but at one point or another, we drift apart, no one path better or worse then the other, each path is just different, played out by the choices we make or more so by the choices we don’t make. I dance with moments filled within the company of others and other moments filled with the company of myself, thinking, dreaming and brainstorming about the next possible steps forward (or in some cases, backward). 

Where will I go from here? So many moments in my life I could have stopped and setup a permanent camp, I have lived enough, no need for more experiences and growth. But there is always something pulling me to pack up and move forward. To climb up Maslow’s ladder. This is a challenge for me because simultaneously I yearn, almost daily, for a loving partner in my life. Perhaps I need a partner in my life who is willing to live a similar journey, to walk a similar path, together. A partner who also has something constantly pulling her forward when the lessons of the present have been learned. 

I have big dreams of travelling the world, of working from all corners and impacting each individual that crosses my path, with my words, my labour, my hugs and my energy, lifting and inspiring them to dig in and explore their authenticity, to share their light because it’s their birth right. I have a dream of having a greater impact on this world and what better time to do it, with how interconnected we are today. The impact that you and I can make by sharing our light is enormous, I don’t know how it came to this, but I know that we have the ability to stop and restart, today. We have it in us. Each person that can take a moment and just make the decision to drop into the present, has the ability to stop, restart and begin fresh, today. We control the volume of impact we want to have in this world. 

Individuals from all corners of this Earth are increasing their volume. It’s happening, right now. 

Open your heart. Close your eyes and pay attention to the beat. Imagine that you hold a key, a key that unlocks a lock that will release the chains to gigantic doors, doors you would find at the entrance of a castle. Imagine chains releasing and falling to the ground and the doors opening wide and you begin to see, you see your own light shining through. Imagine the light swirling around your body, that radiant heart open energy wrapping around your body, then fill the room you stand in with that energy and share it with those you love. 

Here is something that I learned from my dear friend Jacque Saltsman (http://jacquesaltsman.com/). Share it with the ones you don’t love. Silently. You don’t need to say anything, you don’t even need to see them. Just have them in your thoughts and imagine sharing this heart open energy with them. 

Those who you think are the least deserving of your love need it the most. I’ll write that again because its really important if humanity is going to collectively evolve. I know, it’s hard to love those whom you don’t connect with or those who have hurt us, but it will have a profound impact on us, others around us and inevitably, the world. 

To change the world, those who you think are the least deserving of your love, need it the most.
